Community Programs
ADT’s Community Programs provide free, high-quality dance training paired with academic support and social-emotional learning for youth across Miami-Dade. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, students receive consistent instruction, mentorship, and performance opportunities, removing barriers and ensuring every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
Next Steps
Next Steps supports students as they deepen their training and prepare for future pathways in dance and beyond. The program includes scholarships to train at the Academy, performance opportunities, and guidance through auditions, college preparation, and career exploration, along with wraparound support to remove obstacles that may impact students and their families, ensuring long-term success.
Removing Barriers
ADT removes financial and logistical barriers so every student can fully participate. Support spans tuition, transportation, and performance access, while partnerships connect families to essential services—ensuring talent, not circumstance, determines opportunity. This commitment to removing barriers is foundational to ADT’s mission and is carried forward through The Ruth Wiesen Fund.
Summer In The Cities
Summer in The Cities offers advanced students the opportunity to train at top institutions and experience the professional dance world firsthand. Through immersive intensives, performances, and cultural exposure, students expand their horizons, build independence, and gain inspiration that shapes their artistic and personal growth. This opportunity is made accessible through ADT’s Summer in The Cities scholarship program.
