The Nutcracker
Armour Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker ballet is more than a holiday tradition. The cast of over 180 includes students from six Armour Dance Theatre locations, New World School of the Arts students in advanced roles, alongside world-class guest stars, ensuring high quality and diversity. Our goal is for all children in the audience to see performers who look like them.
Over 5,000 public school children experience this production annually. Armour Dance Theatre launched the region’s first Sensory-Inclusive Nutcracker, becoming a leader in making the arts accessible to all children.
The Nutcracker will be held at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater for two field trip performances, as well as a matinee and evening performance for the general public. Tickets will go on sale on October 23rd on LIVE NATION, Ticketmaster, and at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater box office.

Field Trip Performances
We believe every child should have access to the joy and magic of live dance. Our two weekday Nutcracker field trip performances are one way we make that possible, welcoming students to experience a professional theatrical production in an inclusive environment.
Tickets remain at an affordable $15 per student. Performances are Sensory Inclusive, and accommodations are available to help ensure all students can participate and enjoy the experience.
To help prepare students, especially those attending a live performance for the first time, we encourage teachers to share our Going to the Show illustrated guide in advance.
We’re also proud to provide a Nutcracker Study Guide for students and teachers, designed to extend learning beyond the stage, deepen understanding of the production, and make the field trip an even more meaningful educational experience.
